Since 1995 over 5,000 individuals have died crossing the U.S./Mexico border In September 2001, our bi-national board sent a letter to the President and Congress of the United States, encouraging reform and we seek positive reform to our nation’s immigration laws.
Additionally, Frontera de Cristo is a part of the U.S./Mexico Border and Immigration Task Force. The U.S./Mexico Border and immigration Task Force is a border-wide coalition that brings together local elected officials, law enforcement, faith and business leaders, and community groups.
